It has existed for 194 years and will now be available in Oklahoma. Yuengling, the oldest operating brewing company in the United States, will be selling beer in bars and restaurants in Oklahoma starting February 6.
The brewery, established in 1829 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, is one of the largest craft breweries in the United States. With six generations of Yuengling family ownership.
Yuengling started expanding to the Midwest and will begin with keg sales and then package sales with six, 12 and 24 packs in early March. The states getting the new products are Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas, LDF Sales & Distributing will handle the sales in the Tulsa area.
The beers they are shipping are their Traditional Lager and Light Lager. They won't be shipped from Pennsylvania. It will be brewed in Texas and distributed to the Midwest from there.
LDF will introduce the beers at a variety of locations this Saturday, February 4, starting at 5 p.m.
